Upington is a town founded in 1884 and is located in the Northern Cape province of South Africa, on the banks of the Orange River.
Kalahari Mall is Upington's only regional shopping centre and is situated on the corner of Dr Nelson Mandela Drive and Van Riebeeck Street en route to the popular Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park, Augrabies Falls National Park, the Orange River Wine Route and the Flowers of Namaqualand.
